Default 24x conversion tuning in AZ

I am looking to wrap up my motor shortly and I'm going to have to get everything tuned. Preferably a dyno tune. I have already reached out to NicD and he is no longer doing these tunes as well as Madtuner (Ion). I am going to really be screwed if nobody will do this. It was advertised like anybody will work with them and now it seems like shops don't wanna touch it.

Is it not the same as tuning an LSx?

That's supposed to be the whole advantage but idk why anybody won't do it. Supposedly there are still underlying issues because the original problem wasn't the computer so it's I guess still like tuning an lt1. Idk really but that's what I'm understanding

So you're running a LS PCM and ignition coils, correct?

Correct. I am considering pcmforless for the mail order tune and trying to find someone out here for the dyno tune

Shouldn't anybody that can regularly tune LS vehicles be able to tune yours also then? If you are using an LS PCM, then it will be the same to tune as long as the tuner is keeping in mind the differences in hardware.

these are rather easy to do, as long as the swap was done right... only few things to do differently like change up bank to bank selection in the tune... you sure NicD wont tune it? i have done quite a few of them with success, and nicd is a very good tuner so i dont see this as an issue for you.

I promise he said he won't do them. He said they still have the same tuning issues as lt1 cars because the problem with the LT's is not the computer to begin with. I wish I could have him do it.

I appreciate the offer. If I can't find someone locally that I feel I can trust I may make it a weekend trip with my gf and see San Diego too. I'll send you a pm for pricing info. And does it sound right about a 6 hour drive from Phoenix out there?

I just contacted Xtreme and they said as long as the PCM isn't locked they could do it with Hp tuners. Have you had experience with them? If so, how was it?
