window motor replacement

Does anyone do a window motor replacement at a decent price? Im not paying 120 for labor for a 20 minute job. Any recommendations?? Thanks!!

Yes, it took the GM service worker 30 minutes to replace. He did the work on his own time. I watched him he charged me $30. I was so happy I paid him $50. Now I do it myself. Takes me about an hour and a half. Purchase the motor from advanced auto or auto zone. Ls1 has a write up of how to do it. You will be real happy when your done. Lining up the new motor and putting the first screws in are a pain. Also the door handle bezel is a pain if you haven't removed one before. But if you plan on having a Camaro or Firebird the rest of your life, then it will be good to learn this.

So he disconnected everything, took the panel off, peeled the plastic, diconnected the motor, marked and drilled the fiberglass, drilled out the rivets, pulled the motor, replaced the motor, got the bolts and nuts in and tight, reconnected the motor, put the plastic back on, put the panel on, reconnected everthing in 30 mins?

Unless that is all the guy does (which could be possible) I doubt it would have taken him a half hour. Unless all the holes were already drilled, and the rivets were already replaced with hardware I could see that.

It took me an hour, and I had to drill and replace the hardware.
