Default Should I part out???

So my car was hit last week in the rear and it's most likely going to be a total loss. I'm debating on parting it out mostly because of the work it's going to take. I have some quality parts on the car with a solid motor and transmission. Anyone with experience??? Is it worth the work???

Being in Cali you'd probably be able to part it out faster, but I've parted out a 00 TA and 98 Z28. It took me over a year to sell everything I sold off the Z28 and I finally scrapped a perfectly good bare body because I couldn't sell it. I threw away most of the interior because it didn't sell. I just got tired of having all of that stuff taking up space. It took quite a while to sell what I sold off the TA too and I've still got parts laying around.

I'd list it whole first, it might be worth getting a little less money in one lump some and move on with life.

NOT WORTH PARTING OUT! I got tired of mine just sitting there. you get peeps from all over askking bunch of questions but rarely any action. ended up selling most of the stuff at a give away price just to get rid of it. I would keep the engine, trans, interior if its in good condition, wheels and suspension stuff if you got mods. sell the car complete as a roller.

I've never had any issues parting out cars, and I've probably parted out a dozen F Body's. Parted out a 2000 SS a couple months ago. You cant keep all the small bullshit that won't sell. Pull the main **** and scrap the roller, no ones going to buy a wrecked roller.

If you decide to part, I'll take the front spindle assemblies most likely. Shoot me a price on the whole car too when you get a chance.

Why on earth are you parting it out? If it's not totaled file a diminished value claim. That damage looks negligible. You'll regret not repairing it.

Well it probably looks worst in person. The rear wheel was hit as well so the rear end in damaged.

That sucks, I'm sure it would be a few thousand to fix but to keep that SS on the road would be worth it over selling it or parting it out. The damage doesn't look too bad in the outside.
