Borrow/buy a flywheel lock locally?
I am in San Jose, CA and had planned to install a new LS3 engine this weekend, but need to install the crank pulley
first. The price of a lock is not a big deal, but no one can deliver before next Tuesday. I'm hoping a local member
would be willing to loan me the lock, or sell it if they no longer need it.

You can take a piece of bar stock and drill 2 holes in it that would bridge one of the FW PP bolt holes on FW or flexplate and a bolt hole on block for bell housing and secure that short piece of bar stock with the corresponding bolts
