California has always been bad about car theft. I'm amazed anytime someone has the same car for more than 10 years without it being stolen at least once.

Yeah its too bad its unlawful to wire a car with explosives for use with a remote detonator so we can stop them from ever doing it again but I believe that would be considered as an act of terrorism.

Sorry about losing your ride but that was a generous payout you received. A silver lining.

Some body needs to put a "bait" car loaded with GPS device in that area and get that mother trucker.

8,300 is a good deal if it was bone stock

I park mine inside, never outside. These cars are easy to strip and part out.

I had several friends have their 4th gens stolen here in the Bay Area. **** was aggravating to say the least, a lot of them super clean only to get completely gutted. I hate thieves and this sate goes light on them so there's not incentive to not steal. Pretty sad how easy it is to steal these cars.

It's only going to get worse as time goes on but there's things that can be done and should have already been done a long time ago to fix it! The cost of living continues to rise and lawmakers continue to find ways to generate revenue by raising taxes, building toll roads, installing red light cameras, etc., I feel this country is becoming more and more dangerous as time goes on and that some of the leaders who govern our lands are helping to destroy it.
