Anyone that wants to take it to the next level, a group of us from Fresno are going to Buttonwillow on friday for an open track day. Thats this coming friday the 15th.This is a full road course track. Price is $200, you need a helmet, stock seatbelts and pass a real basic saftey inspection if they even do it this time, they didnt last time....Its a ton of fun and you dont have to worry about messing up your street car! Its a very safe track even if you screw up, there is only a couple places to be careful.Its really great for a begininer.

Were basically a bunch of drag racers that now get together up to 12 times a year for some road track fun. There will be some F bodies some Vettes and maybe a Porche or BMW, who knows what else. It wont be very crowded, it never is on these open track days which means LOTS of track time with very few cars on the track. Last time we had 8 cars from Fresno show and we had a blast.They gave us our own street car class and there was never more than about 8 cars on the 3 mile course at a time, sometimes in the afternoon I actually had the track to myself! I run a mostly stock C6 Z51 Vette, it runs 11.80's in the qtr but you dont really need any power mods to have a ton of fun on the road course, street tires are fine, etc...Let me know if you have any questions or want to join us.

i'm still up in travis jay, bout to be done with these orders and possibly head back home unless i get more on the job training after this... i'm going to try to head to sac raceway on the 13th of this month to see what i run with street tires and now that the tune is back, can't wait to see what happens with some NAAAAAAAAAWWWSSSSS later this year if the motor survives if not time for an upgrade lol
