Hey now, that was my first car and I was a kid. You traded an 11-sec SOM Z for a Mustang.

Corn is Good!

I owned a Debadged Mustang that went 12.2@113 with less than $600.00 in modifications.

You owned a V6 Camaro?

Brandin, you're proud of 12's on a beat up old fox body with nitrous? Uh... okay.

And the first time I met you you were in a white SS with BLACK WHEELS. Thus your exclusion from the "color deciding team."

DLA is going to build me a 383 Stroker within the next couple of weeks. All the parts are on order, so next week I'll be taking my '98 SS down there. It's good to hear that he does good work. Tim has been very helpful & patient with me so far. I give everyone an update as soon as the car is done.

Let me know how it goes. Tim has been helpful with me also. I have 2 months left on the factory warranty so I am just waiting for it to end then on with the mods. Where are you taking it to get tunned after the work?

Don Lee's did my Harland Sharp Rockers on my 99 SS. Very good price. They also had incedentals in stock just in case, I needed shorter pushrods and shims for the rockers (Also at a good price). Total cost for labor and extra parts was $225ish. Where other quotes I had gotten were about $250 just for labor. Very, Very quick with repairs. Dropped off in the morning finished when they said it would be later that same day.

So what do you think about the rockers? I was also thinking of doing them?

Default Strictly Performance

Recently (last week) I had Strictly Peformance install long tube headers, dual 3 inch x-pipe exhaust dumped out the back. They even managed to utilize my stock tips (I have the center mounted exhaust) for that 'stock' look. I can say nothing but praise about his (Rob) shop, service and quality of workmanship. Right now we are in the process of mapping out the build for my car. I am working on a 2002 SS Camaro. Anyway, I would definitaley recommend his shop.

Similar to my experiance. I had them do my clutch install. Had the LS6 clutch already, and when I got there, TIm told me I would need a new flywheel, so he sold me a slightly used steel one and resurfaced it. Labor for the install + flywheel + resurface cost $355...I had gotten labor quotes in between 325 and 500 JUST to install the clutch (labor for the actually install was only $230 at DLA).

They did it quick (few hours) and the car has been running beautifully since.

They also quoted me ONLY $66 to do my sparkplugs (cheapest quote I got before was $125).

I will definitely go to DLA again when I get any and all major work done (Long Tube and TSP Dual within a month, cam later on)

Default Don Lee Automotive

That's what I don't know. A couple of people have told me to take it to Los Angeles Performance Division in Chatsworth. Plus I have also heard that Strictly Performance in the valley was getting a dyno pretty soon, if they haven't gotten it yet. Any other ideas of where to take it would be greatly appreciated.
