I will be out there tomorrow. Hope to see a few of you out there. I'll be in the REALLY loud SS with the Performance Associates windshield banner.

Thanks, I think I'll swing by for a few runs. How's the traction at this track?

Very nice. They prep the track very well. They are also very professional and organized.

Thanks!

Kind of a dissapointing evening. Just about everything I could have screwed up, I screwed up. LOL! Couldn't get the bottle heater working the first run, couldn't get my foot down on the floor the second run, tanked the 2nd gear shift on the third run, and somehow screwed up setting the 2-step on the last run. *sigh* Hopefully next time out will be better. Got a new best mph of 103.25. At least I got something out of the evening.

I hope your driving was a lot better than mine.

98Z28ID,
What's up, man? Nice meeting you yesterday. Too bad it was at 10:00PM. Irwindale has a good set-up and it hooks great. I bogged on both of my runs. Next time I'll try launching at 3K. I saw Bad200SS but didn't get to talk to him. I'm use to California Speedway where you make a pass and then you have 3 hours, between runs, to go meet people. At Irwindale, it seems like everyone makes a run and then gets back into the staging lanes.

Hey 1LE99, sorry I missed you. I spent half of the night fighting with the car.

Looks like I might be out for a while, I think I blew out a rocker arm. Hopefully i'll be back up and running in a few weeks. Hope to see everyone out there again.

It was good to meet you bad2000ss. I met one other guy out there but wasnt sure if he was on the board (had a black 98 Z28). Yesterday wasnt going well for my car. It was running an average of .15 slower and 1mph less in the 1/8th than normal, and I called it quits early. After I got home, I thought of a few other things to try out to see if it would make a difference, but oh well, next time.

Yes, I was using my BFG Drag Radials yesterday. I was about to sell them and get some MT ET Street Radials because they don't hook worth crap at California Speedway. Now... I just might reconsider. I think next time I'll launch a little harder. This track should be good for some sub 2.0 60' times.

Probably not for about another month. I should have an intake manifold by then but we will see. I was running 8.8s yesterday. My last two times out were 8.6s so I dunno whats up.
