I'm moving to 29 Palms next weekend and was wondering if anybody here is from that area.

 

I was there for a few years. Now I live just down the hill.

 

Cool, where do you live now? Were you stationed in 29 Palms?

I now live a few minutes east of palm springs. I left there Sept 2002 and went overseas for awhile.

 

Lol...I bet a lot of people would agree with you there but I don't think 29 Palms is all that bad. That's probably got a lot to do with the fact that I hate big cities...therefore living in the middle of nowhere doesn't really bother me. The worst part is how hot in gets in the summer...that's something I definantly didn't miss while I was gone.

 

I agree with you, I kinda liked it out there. I liked it alot better than Pendleton. I had more fun during my 7 years at the Stumps than 2 years at Pendleton.
