Default facts/opinions of 408 iron block in f body?

Is anyone running a truck motor? Is a new 6.0 with good crank/rods/pistons a good start to put alum. heads on just to get the cubes?
What does the weight do to the car?

I have a 422 iron block and I love it. The car sits a little lower in the front, but the handling doesn't seem to have changed alot. The car has so much power that you forget about any negative weight penality. I removed the ac system to compensate for the added weight. If you use a good cam and heads you can make a ton of power. Spray it or add fi and it will be nuts. Only problem is getting a tranny to hold together behind it.
