10.4:1 Static

You need to consider what kind of cam overlap you are running to determine dynamic compression ratio.

How do I do that?

I'm looking at running a Comp Cams 226/222 .585/.563 114 LSA on my 402 stroker (4" stroke). I don't know squat about DCR, so any help you could give would be appreciated. (I did run a search just barely and came up with some informative looking threads; but honestly don't have the time right now to read them all to "understand" what's what). A "simplified" summary would be helpful.

Right now, I'm trying to decide if I want to stay NA and max out the compression, or add the STS Turbo and keep compression a bit lower. Gas mileage is unfortunately a big factor, as this is first and foremost a daily driver.

Staying CA legal is also a goal since the move to San Diego is only 3 months away now. One bonus of the turbo is eliminating the need to swap headers off and on.

I'll have to contact the engine builder and make sure I have all the specs right, so give me a couple of days.

Thanks J.
