So has a date and place been decided yet? We should decide soon so that people can make plans ahead of time.

I agree. I'd also like to know at least a couple of weeks ahead of time. That way I can start getting things ready and see who else I know may want to go.

If you guys want me just to set a date up I can do it. I was hoping that everyone would chime in but if you want me just to make one I could. I was thinking like May 21st. Because we want to do it on a Saturday but next saturday I know some people might be going to the dyno day in Colton. What do you guys think?

I'd actually be in the LA area that day because I have another session to get my tat romoved, so if you do decide that day, let me know so I can have someone come with me so they can drive my car.

It's like a 20-30min drive to the desert.

That sucks, but is good at the same time. Better to be out there helping anyways. I am sure we will do it again.

Mapquest says it is like over 2 hours away. Mapquest it beaumont 92223 from your exact address to know for sure. Let me know if you still want me to add you, that is a nice drive away.

Yeah go ahead and put me down. I'm going to be in LA off of the 405 that day anyways for my tattoo removal and I'll just head out over to Beaumont after.

Hey guys, I live in Palm Desert, and was curious when you said "the desert" you were talking about my palm springs area? If so, I wouldn't mind checking out your cars..if its alright? I do have a mustang, but am always up for checking out the "other side" haha. If its cool, I might bring a buddy who we just finished his 1969 Camaro SS (clone) with a new 350 crate motor in it. Its pretty badass. It's either going to be that, or his dad's CTS-V. So if your thinking about heading out towards this way, I wouldn't mind doing something on a saturday (the 21st as mentioned above). We were out at palm springs just yesterday and watched the races...mostly imports (hondas) but some V8's. Anyways...just lemme know..thanks.
