I'm not sure what you mean about cutting in front of everyone. Where is everyone before the gates open? I've never arrived before 1PM so I wouldn't know. It's been a few months since I've been to the Street Legals and I'm not so sure I'd want to go back as long as the Private Track days are around.
Besides, I wouldn't want to arrive at 8AM and go home at 10:30PM only to make 3 passes (4 tops). By the way, even if you arrive late they always have "clean up" rounds so everyone gets caught up. The only time I'd recommend getting up early is during the Spring Break session.

Hey guys sorry but i havent taken my car to the strip at all and want to know

What is needed to pass tech inspestion?

ie.. like do you need a helmet

driveshaft loop

Any help would be great, hopefully ill have enough stuff to pass so i can go and see actually how fast my car is. It wont be that great since im on street tires but a lot of my friends want to know how fast i can run in the quarter.

 

if your going 11.99 or faster, a cage, 13.99 or better and a helmelt
if your running nitrous, you need the blowdown tube that exits the car.
just simple things like all your lugnuts, good tires, simple safety things.
current license registration, and proof of insurance.
if you have this stuff then you should be good to go....

it was not taken as a flame at all, im sure there are some people who havnt been recently. this year they're opening the track only once a month not once every week or other week. if you get tehre in the morning, people start lining up, directly across the street from the gates(not sure of street name)

as it gets closer to noon, people will start lining up on cherry both from north and south. these are generally the people who show up 15 minutes prior to the gates opening and they usually get in much sonner then thwy would if they got there lazy asses out of bed and went down there in the morning like they should.

it all comes down to what you wanna do.... i do it that way, and it works for me, so i stick to it.

this is in no way directed negatively to you 1LE, just saying where im coming from....

2 reasons:

1- I haven't raced anyone in years
2- My shifter, for some reason, rotates. It isn't very stable, and I haven't had the chance to drive someone else's car with an aftermarket shifter so I can decide.

I really want to run her. Soon enough...
