Default where to camp??

are there any good local places to camp at around here?? im talking like tent and campfire in the middle of the wilderness or mountains kinda thing. I dont want RV's and Trailers around. Just tent style roughin it. Maybe along a stream or lake...just like in the movies or something.

Im not a big camper so I dont know of any places but a few of us are trying to get something going for the weekend.

u could go up to pinecrest and hike out and u will find some places and u will find the Stanilus River and u can pull some real nice 14 inch native brook trout out of...me and a buddy went last week and it was great times......and of course u could just drive somewhere and go off hiking and post up tent ...then u will really be ruffing it

The boat ride is like 50.00 per head now and the camp spots are like 26.00 a nite...has all the facilites, shower, bathroom etc...plus you can take a boat round the island to avalon for like 7.00 at nite for the bar scene and all the touristy stuff...GREAT diving/snorkling near the camp sites though...nice mellow get away...I'm going in Aug more than likely
