It would take me about 1 hour and 1/2 to get there i used to work out there when i worked in construction and it seems pretty open compared to orange county everywhere you look theres cops here.

Well anytime you wanna come out, like I said let me know a day in advance and Ill help you with directions. Its seriously so easy to get to Palm Springs. Any free way that goes to the I-10 East (coming from LA, OC area) and your set.
I'm gonna try for next Saturday instead.
