If you think your car will make it through the testing session without throwing the code, one thing you can do is purchase a CReader (super cheap code reader/code clearer) from Harbor Freight for like $30. Throw it into your glove box, plug it in, and clear the codes before going in for testing.
If you need a more permanent solution, post up on www.sdcarscene.com, there are a few members over there with HPTuners for just about all of the LS1 years that might be able to help you out.

Turning off codes depends on which ones and how many you turn off. A couple is usually fine. I know the AIR, secondary AIR, all that crap you can turn off and it will pass. You can have a few 'not readies' and be ok
