Default twisties in So. Cal.

i know that there are tons of roads in So. Cal. that are a blast to drive on. I know a few like Tapenga Canyon, Malibu and such. But i know that there are some around the 210fwy, before Big Bear, and around Pasadena. Ill be getting my car back soon so I want to find new roads to do some canyon driving and have some fun. Anyone have sugestions with directions? Or maybe get some of us to meet somewhere out there with a few cars.

Are you in the Pasadena Area? Hwy 2 is full of twisties, but also full of nut cases racing on bikes and they used to have supercharged 3rd gen Camaros CHPs patrolling that area.

When we were kids, we used to go up to Turnball canyon, near the City of Industry.
Azusa Canyon and the road up to any of the mountains are nice.

210, 10 or 60 (although the 210 will put you closest to the canyon).
Exit Asuza (from any of those frreeways) and go north.

Azusa canyon used to go all the way over the mountain, but the 88 earthquake knocked some huge boulders on the road (and half the road fell away) and some enviromentalist sued or something to prevent the repairs taking place.

Aren't there some good twisties out in your neck of the woods, ie Palos Verdes? I think you'd enjoy Hwy 2 more, not to mention the canyons north of malibu, which will put you on the 101 around Lost Hills/Calabasas for some open high speed runs afterwards

I go to turnball canyon all the time it's close to me and a blast.

I also run out to Malibu canyon every now and then and have a great time.
