Eastern Guys pretty damn fast.

If Race prep throws the west coast thing everyone better be on the ball.... Most of the fastest ls1's in the world are from the east. Im eager to see how many of us dip into the nines.

I have a few friend's that can give them good run's. I know what you mean they are all mostly in Texas.

Keep in mind the weather on the east coast is a helluva lot colder than the west. The colder the better. Bring some of them east coast cars over to the west coast and they'll definitely get disappointing track times.

Thats a good point about the weather and altitude on the east being better. I just didnt want the west coast getting a bad rap for having 30 some odd 10 second cars.

no offense to west coast shops etc., but the east coast/mid west has some of the best performance shops from f-bods to 300zx's all because they dont have to worry about working around strict emissions and business laws are a lot less strict.

Standard of living is different than CA, besides the generic areas like NY, Bos, etc real estate and cost of living is much cheaper which =more goodies for cars

I just don't see too many people around here with purpose built lsx race cars. We have a 9 second ls1, but compared to the east coast guys running 7's that's not saying alot.
