Urgh, I was up all night looking for something to do. I went to what used to be the "Ricer Car Show" and apparently they moved it a while back, and I hear it got shut down after that too.... so I drove like 10 miles away just to find an empty parking lot...

No love for the camaro that night... =(

Oh, and yes, it was FREAKING COLD! last night...

hey guys, i live down on 39th and greenway...im a soon to be f-body owner...as soon as i get one (which should be a week or so) i will go up to checkers that next weekend and finally be apart of the domestic crowd ( i have a 1988 acura legend at the moment.........)

 

1bad71 I would love to see the car sometime. I finaly got some wheels again so no more having to ride with someone.

It looks like the car is going to be gettin an auto after all. Not sure on th350 or 400 or stall speed yet. Hopefuly I can hvae the car driving by the first of the year again. Anyone want to buy a t56 setup?

Yeah and then i shifted into what i thought was 5th but ended up just grinding and greg said he saw my reverse lights go on so im pretty sure somehow instead of 5th it tried gettin into reverse. If i would have hit 3rd instead of 4th im sure i would have matched that guy, even with me hitting 4th he didnt pull quite as hard.

 

ya from where i was, both of you just took off, it looked about even and i actually thought you DID take him, but then i saw your reverse lights come on, and he was gone, lol... thats kinda scary, i thought you were mad and tried to throw your car in reverse, hahahha..

the funniest part was, after he pulled away, he turned on his hazzards, when it was obvious to see who won, hahahhaha, typical ricer moves.

03' Silverado SS? what happened to the other car u were goin to get? and u know that truck wont stay stock for long.

 

Yep got a SS now. After a little more driving it I think it needs a 3200 stall. I still need to find cheap trailer before I do anything to the truck. Today I pulled insurance on the car. No point in having it insured while its not driving. Hopefuly by the first of the year I can get the new trans in the car and rod bolts in the bottom end.

Recently I started to move alot of drugs across the border. So far its treating me well. :joker: . No my sister gave me her old car, I had some money saved, my grandpa threw some in for the truck and the bank took up the rest. Back to having car payments again.

so i took the car to a tranny shop today and he put it up on the lift and said my main seal was leaking. He wanted to charge me $375 just to pull the tranny. I was like wtf. So does anyone want to help this weekend...i pay well...just not $375 worth lol

correction* they said it was leaking from the input shaft seal on the tranny...

mike, im pretty sure your more than welcome to bring it into my work, theres plenty of lifts there, only problem is finding a tech to help, so we can use his tools... ill ask kevin, the guy on the gsxr 600... maybe he will be up for it if you throw in some money.

or maybe we could just do it at somebodies house, and might as well have a group get together too, lol... we could cook some food!! and fix mikes tranny, yesssssss lol
