yeah i know, i just really liked the way ruben's system sounded
and i like the idea of not having a cutout vibrating underneath my car.
it annoys me now with i drive because it drones all nasty at like 1.8k-2.4k.... pisses me off
i just passed up some brand new Pacesetters and ORY for 500 shipped so ohh well...

i wanna run one of these nights...
dakota, i forgot you had a cutout lol... is it electric? the only thing i dont like about cutouts is the rasp, mainly when decelerating while staying in gear, usually around 2200k... but ive learned the tricks to avoid that, you gotta know the tricks of the cutout lol... drone isnt that bad though? or maybe i just love loud noises, lol i have my cutout open almost 24-7... unless im racing, then i close it cuz sometimes i get the feeling like my car is faster with it closed... anybody else feel that too?

I Tested That Cutout At The Trac And Always Ran Faster With It Open, But I Know What Your Talking About When You Say It Feels Faster With It Closed Cause I Tought The Same Thing But Proved That My Car Was Faster With It Open

lets go to speedworld... i heard track prep is better and there are less people...
if you have that extra helmet i would like to use it
you should come too greg
and yeah my cutout is just nasty it sounds real good after 2.4k but in that little rage it is terrible... i have to be really light on the throttle for it to work. It is a manual but i leave it open 24/7 unless i am going somewhere classy with my girl.

haha my girlfriend hated it at first, but now she complains that i never have it open when we hang out lol.
and ya if i keep light on the throttle up to about 2500rpm it sounds good, and WOT after that just sounds mean as hell
ill be down for the track, but not this weekend... i'd like to find somebody who has a pair of drag wheels they can lend me for a few passes

wow just read the common wheel weights sticky... some interesting stuff!
a 17x9.5 TT2 weighs in at 24lbs without a tire, and 17x11 without a tire is 27lbs
stock Y2k vette wheel 17x8.5 weighs 18lbs, and the rear 18x9.5 weighs 20lbs, thats pretty light! the front 17x8.5 is just as light as a 17x9.5 Fikse wheel, what the hell is the point of spending 600$ a wheel for "lightweight" when stock vette wheels are lighter? CCW and HRE wheels are heavier as well, thats weird.

ive heard about those 555r 2's... should be pretty good, a guy named alex who hung out with us last weekend has a silver ws6 with SS 10 spoke wheels like yours, he has nitto's and he says he hasnt had a problem with them yet... just be careful in the rain, i hear DR's in rain can be very scary.
