I dont think I will be at the track or out on bell this weekend. Got a few things I got to do the car before its next round of mods. 
The other day I helped a buddy put set of heads on his car. After we got done we fired it up and noticed that it was buring coolant. Turned out that the head studs stretched and the cometic gaskets compressed more. So after we get everything back together for the second we take it for a drive. The car screams even up in CO. After we get done putting about 5 miles on the car we park it and eat some lunch. Come back out to head to the dyno and its got no oil pressure. So we push it to the shop and sure enough somehting in the pump let go. Drop the oil and there a bunch of shines on the plug. I'm not sure what has happend since cause I left to head back down here.

btw, driving home from the gym last night, joey and i are in my car, and we come up behind a 95ish conv. mustang gt, some older lady driving it, so she takes off from the light, then i pursue and switch lanes and catch her at a light, after laughing at the fact that shes like 45, with the top down and listenin to some gangsta ****, she doesnt say anything, but the light goes green and she takes off, i gave her about a car length start, and then i just reel her in at a nice rate, and fly past her. so at the next light, she says "i want one of those! you had me so im not even gonna try again" i just laugh and when it goes green she says "ok ya i will" she takes off, i go slow to give her a head start, then punch it, when im at her bumper i try to put it in second and grind hardcore, so i stop and i come up on her and say "i missed a gear" and she says "ya uh huh, sure" what the hell is that?!!? i was so pissed off, so now theres another 95 gt roaming around thinking its the fastest thing... dammit. she wouldnt even give me another chance...

LOL got to love the cocky grandma. Its good when they think they are hot ****, they make a better face when they loose.
That wasn't my car we had the head problems on, it was a buddy with a camaro. I'm in the process of gettin a th350 from a guy. Hope everything goes good.

got my tires for tomorrow, so i'll be down for some test runs.
who's coming out tomorrow? don't make me and whitefire be the only 2 out there again.
on a different thing! i ran a black srt4 up 35th from union last night, he pulls up and stays about a 1/2 car back. when the light went green we both took off lite, he got a 1/2 car ahead then we both hit it. i jumped him about a car then we stayed on my rear quarter all the way through 4 gear. he was poppin hard through all the gears, while i left it in drive! close race though, he stopped and said good run.
i think he was shocked when i rolled down the window and he saw someone older than his dad!!!

didn't wake up till after 11am, then a buddy showed up and asked if i would help pull a motor ( i owe him) so i spent sunday doing a engine swap.
i doubt i'll make it next sunday, have to get this turbo car done to go to the dyno this weekend
i'll post up if anything changes

hey jeff, how long have you been working on your turbo project???
call me crazy, but im thinking about putting an end to the mods on my current LS1 and start building a nice built LS1 or something, not sure what setup i would go with, but its an idea thats been in my head, cuz i figure i should stop throwing money into my 91k mile ls1 and make a fresh one!
give me some hints/ideas guys, and im not sure if i would go turbo setup or not, it would be my daily driver.
