I am looking to get rid of the pro stars and get some Z06's.
Oh and I dont see what the big deal is about making a video even if you get beat. You gotta remember that there is always someone out there thats faster than you...even if it is a 4 cylinder. I give those guys credit, and i'll be willing to let them put me in a video even if i lose.

oh ya there are def. quick fbodies, thats what i was sayin... leave the fast ones for the video, dont compile a bunch of stock fbodies vs. marios gsx, lol we gotta get some good competition...

i got the pp h/c deal, i could not beat the price, i also need to order a fuel pump and injectors as well

Thats what i was talkin about. I have no problem with racing a car i know will beat me. I am not a sore loser at all. I just dont want these 4cyl guys beatin up on every v8 car that shows up and then makin a video of all of us gettin are *** kicked.
IownedU, i was kinda hopeing to hang onto the zo6 wheels and pick up a set of pro stars for the track and stuff. but if i change my mind i will let u know and maybe we could make a trade.

also don't forget pushrods, lifters, SVO 30#ers, and the 255lph pump...I'd skip the nitrous and do the FAST 90/90 to have that power all the time...Definitely get the stall also...
Should be good for 430whp+ if all goes well...

everything you mentioned except i got the 226/226 112, 585 lift with 1.8 rockers, so higher lift than that, have not figured it out yet. they recommended this as a better street/strip setup. i was also thinking of getting the 90/90 instead as well.

Good choices all around...I decided to tame the cam down a lot too, since i don't go racing around all the time, or go to the track that much...It makes sense in the end, and i'll still have near 450whp in the end, plenty of power for me...
So when is all this stuff coming? I just got a valve spring compressor that fits under the cowl of the hood with the covers on, thinking i was going to be doing some springs, but you went and made it easier on us and got heads too...
I got some practice yesterday, did head gaskets on a 99 Tahoe...So i'm ready to go
Still waiting on my money, as soon as it comes i'll have all my stuff too

hell yeah man i need your experiance, i also need the timing chain and gaskets. i can get the gaskets anywhere but need to order the ls2 chain unless someone local carries it. i was doing some reseach on the pumps, i guess the racetronix one is plug and play, no splicing and better fit from what i hear, not sure though. i was thinking about bigger injectors as well since i can tune for them with my vinci programmer, they said 2 weeks

ahh i would but unfortunatly it will not work on a 98 model, 99-02 f bobies and 99-04 vettes only. and yes im very anxious and excited waiting for the parts,lol

lol hell ya dude, as you guys pulled out to head to the race spot, the hondas got into it alittle, and they get moving quick... there are only a few hondas around here worth being looked at/raced... and those are definately in the list...
a while ago when mike raced marios (est. 600hp) GSX on the freeway, there was about 20 other cars following, including the twin hatch's and at one point i went into it hard in 2nd and one of them was all over me like you wouldnt believe, lol it was hilarious seeing a honda on my *** then pass me while im WOT... we all stopped at carls junior afterwards to talk, those guys are pretty cool guys, they werent **** like most of the honda owners.

Another suggestion i might add to this, instead of using the GM head gaskets, get some .045 cometics for better quench and more compression...Might be another 150$, but it's worth it in the end...Will get your power up there a bit more...
And i know it may seem like you want to go big on the injector, but think of it this way...The 42# are going to act like roughly 48# on our fuel pressure...You can get them, but for the power you'll make, they'll be around 60% duty cycle...30# will be around 80%...42 is ok, and great if you plan on nitrous, or more cubes in the future...I say go halfway with some 36#
Racetronix pump is the way to go...That's the one i'm going to get
This is going to be so much fun...Damn government is pissing me off, i want my money...Now you'll be faster than me until i get my **** in order...
