Actually I have to disagree with you, they organized a great gathering for a great cause.... As for the TWO food vendors, I never saw a line more than 5-6 people long waiting.....Not really sure what to say about the level of excitement, I guess if you call spending a Sunday collecting 5000 toys for underprivileged children, coupled with friends, family, and lots of cool cars boring...then I guess your definition of boring is different than mine. I have personally spoken to several people about the event, and they all agreed it was well worth it...I think you need to remember, this was for the kids....not for the glory!
Where else can you see that kinda variety when it comes to cars?
There was many Ferraris a Porshe GT countless Modified Porshe Turbos a couple Lambos and 2 F-40 Ferraris.
There was Supras , Beamers and some nice Bentleys.Don't forget the 3-4 new Z06's in a variety of colors.
Every walk of life was represnted and I think they had more cool cars there then the most recent LA auto show.
Overall I think it was a great event and a even better cause.(Collecting over $50,000 worth of toys in a 5 hour period is awesome and going to make alot of underpriveleged kids happy come christmas)
Sorry if you thought it was going to be a burnout competetion or a bikini contest.
Anybody see the 300GT with the amazing cotton fiber body kit?
We made pretty good time coming back from lunch on the way home!!
How many actually showed up though, i only seen the f-bodies from gm eternal and Kens 02SS there. Maybe 5 camaros and 7 birds total.
