Arrow going to Irwindale Speedway?
This Thursday (tomorrow), 1/8 drag racing. Im going from Fontana (Inland Empire) and would like someone to cruise down there with. Is anyone going from the San Bernardino or Riverside areas? Let me know.

I'll be there. Hopefully they don't give me a hard time in tech b/c I went too fast last time (no roll bar...etc). Anyone down for some friendly heads up racing?

An NHRA tech guy will look over your car to make sure its safe to run. They'll look for stuff like the battery hold down, no missing lug nuts, good tires, seat belt, helmet (8.59 & quicker)...stuff like that.

NickZ28. There were two fast 4th gen. camaros the last couple of weeks, you're probably one of them. I would never stay up with you. What city are you coming from?

I was the quicker one of the two. The other one is my buddy's. I had to step the car way down for tomorrow just so I can make full passes. I'm coming from rancho cucamonga. I should be there at about 530. I'm gonna see if I can get a 7.4x's outta her on the motor.

I was the quicker one of the two. The other one is my buddy's. I had to step the car way down for tomorrow just so I can make full passes. I'm coming from rancho cucamonga. I should be there at about 530. I'm gonna see if I can get a 7.4x's outta her on the motor.
Thats pretty damn fast to not have a roll cage. Are you wearing a helmet? I told them I ran 8.5x the last time I was there and one of the techs told me I needed a helmet, I told him I didnt have one and didnt know I needed one. But that day I only ran 8.7x. Let me know if you want to cruise out there.

Yeah, I have a helmet. I can't get away w/ not having one. They told me if I wanted to bust off another 7.0x-7.29 I'd have to come back w/ a roll bar, harness and jacket. But they also said I can come back if I stepped it down, which I already did. I'm gonna do some tuning on it tonight and see what it does tomorrow.

PM me about rollin out there. I leave at 5...idk what time you wanted to be there.
