any one had any trouble with the 224/224 on a 112? I have an M6 and heard that the 112 was better for the manual.

As far as springs... depends on the lift of the cam. Comp 918 are good up to .600. But myself I wouldn't put em on any thing over .580.

The 112 will lope harder and have a earlier power band then the 114...should pass emissions as well - with a good tune atleast.

Otherwise its an awesome cam to have...a lot of people are real happy with it.

your sig says you have long tubes. correct me if i am wrong but arent Lt's illegal in Ca? they'll pass the sniffer of coarse but wont pass visual. i think it has to do with moving the stock location of the cats. since you're already illegal get the cam you want!!! just my opinion.

Yep they are illegal. I took the LT's out and then put the stock **** in a few moths back. It sucked but it was worth it

You are right with the relocation of the cats...

coil bind is at .660 for a 918 spring. I have them on my LT1 installed at 1.75 and I have .576 lift on the exhaust side. Granted that's about as close as you'd want to go, but you guys install them at 1.800, should be very safe at .580 for you.
