am not from alb, am from las cruces new mexico. all i can say is expect your 12.6 to go to a 13.3 13.2 because of the altitude.
look at the 1/4 mile times in my sig. we have similar mods exept u have a 4000 stall and i have n20. if you do move there give me a pm cause my dad lives up there so i go there once in a while

I'm from Los Lunas (10 mins sounth of ALB). New Mexico in general is not too bad. Like 00formLS1 said the track sucks. Altitude and the hot summer days kill your times. Montomery street off of I-25 is the best place to go cruse and find some races. Dont plan of finding too many chics unless you are over 21 and can go to the clubs.
I only visit NM maybe once a year, but in hasnt changed much in the 3 years I have been gone. The Air Force has me up here in Anchorage Alaska DONT EVER COME HERE IT SUCKS!

I'm also moving to ABQ. I'll be there in April.
There is a non-F club out there that someone reffered me to at one time, but I didnt save the link.
As far as track times, I didnt think it could get much worse than LACR at 2200 feet, but alb. is twice as high...
Look me up if you move there...

Not much else to say, other than what's been said. Add a second to your 1/4 mile time and that's what you'll run here. DA in the summer gets to 8000ft +

Check out www.racingsouthwest.com while you're at it. There's a good number of f-body guys on there. We don't really have a "club" or anything like that, but we have occasional meets to hang out, etc.

I don't work at intel, but I live pretty close to there.

LOL good luck on that one.

I moved here from Tacoma, WA. and lost 1.2 seconds in E.T. I also did a baseline dyno when I got here and found the car had lost 54hp and 64 lbs of torque at the wheels.

I've done a cam and an electric WP since I moved here and I'm still not making the same power to the wheels that I did when I lived in Tacoma.

Forced Induction or N20 is the ONLY way to go here to be fast. There are some fast N/A cars around here, but IMO you'll spend just as much money on an N/A motor as you would using F/I or N20.

Uh, it's big, but not something you'd want to think about swimming in or anything like that.
