The bolt pattern for the TB is for the Accufab style of TB, not similar to an LSx style.
It's possible on the rod swap, but a high quality billet rod like Dyer's or Oliver would run about 500.00 more than an aluminium rod.

I think he already has a stout *** motor NA and it's built to handle the power. Buy a controller and spray the **** out of it. Then take the 10k you saved and give me half of it, take the other half and buy your girlfriend an engagement ring. Or, instead of the ring, put a decent H/C and LT package on the GTO. Any power you make with the 427 or blower, you can make on the bottle TODAY for free, let's be realistic, you can hardly use the power you have now on the street. Besides, I want my frick'n CCW package back, so your fucked as far as driv'n around on a full slick all the time.
