Any gas station's in the OC area that sell pump gas higher than 91 octane?

ya they have a 76 in la habra on Central and one or two blocks west of harbor blvd. that sells 100 octane. also in San Marino at a 76 just east of Rosemead and huntington dr. they've got 100

what would putting something like 100 octane do for a STOCK lt1/ls1 car?? you won't go faster will u?

you'll go slower, unless you're tuned for it. basically no point unless you're spraying or F/I.

Yes. race gas usualy has a higher octane rating than pump gas and is usually more expensive.

Oh i know higher than 91 is not race gas, but the old 76 locator (anything 92+) was just called that. Just a question though, at what octane (104+?) or chemical mixture does it become "race gas". I know there are a ton of variations based on the intended use, but i general description would be great. Sorry to be taking away from the flow of valuable sources, but i think this is a very interesting subject.
