but again, if you are looking for a quiet city, good air, nice surroundings, SNOW LIKE A MOTHER (at times),pretty good home prices, and a slower pace it is a good place to go

Yea, I have kinda began to believe that Logan has alot to do with it. But it is still very different, elsewhere.

yeah they do and it sucks.....i live in cali now which is every two years.... in utah it is every f.ing year, and they also have the safety, which means you better have a lot of the stock interior hehehe. when i was there they put it through the sniffer but some places like jiffy lube, i think, are doing straight computer connection. so if no cats the o2 simulators may work. good luck

I'm with the Monkey - if I had to live in UT, it would be St. George, no doubt. I love the 115-degree summer days and the contrast there is incredible with the red rock and green grass. Lots of good golf too.
Not to hijack the thread, because this is something 30th TA 0219 may be interested in as well, but are there any reputable shops in Ogden/SLC/Provo, etc. that you would consider for work on LS1s? That area seems to have a pretty high per capita rice factor but it seems like there's got to be something for LS1 guys. Mormons don't all drive no-option, silver Civics with baby seats, do they? Oops... I may be down there in the next few months and am looking for a place to deal with gears/recalibrating speedo, etc., among other things.

well, a town with a street scene would be nice, but raising my family and getting back on feet financially is the main goal.
Now, about those UT emissions tests....

i used to live in vegas and then anchorage alaska. i personally love this state. the peeps are nice, unless you get to the extreme mormons. i would look just outside of slc, like bountiful or if you want south lehi like that other guy said. we also have a kick *** car club here!

Thanks, I'm probably going to be working on the south end of town, so somewhere south of town would be fine. I'm looking for somewhere I can get 2-3 acres and keep to myself for the most part.

provo is about 25 to 30 minutes south of slc. bountiful is about 5 to 10 minutes north so its all pretty close. tooele, if you want big land is about 30 minutes i believe.
