Yeah, on a bone stock motor, people are expecting cam, heads, or atleast headers, but still have that nice EGR Pipe hanging outta that stock intake manifold. I will get this car to the 10's and them I'm done. I figure F-bodys nickel and dime the **** outta us. If its not the tranny its the rear end, if not the rear end its the clutch, if not the clutch its the motor, and so on, so on. Its an endless money pit, and the sad thing is I have TWO of them, I'm losing TWICE the money@!

Should of had the 7.31 run on vid but irwindale ***** wouldnt let me from the stands. Then they were bitching about standing around from burnout box...You sign a release u should be able to stand in front of the dam car racing if i wanted too

Next time tell them you are a crew member and get a crew wrist band after you tech. That is what I do when Jen races their, and I stand right in between the cars as they launch. 
Also, they should allow you to video tape from the stands at the drag strip, only the oval they do not. Next time talk to Bob Klien, he is the person in charge. I have never had a problem video taping from the stands.

bah, i wish I'd gone last night, but the girlfriend had alternative plans that involved me taking her to dinner... got the ram powergrip hd sitting in my garage so now I probably won't race till that suckers all broken in. yea and why is it that whenever i go to irwindale i see one maybe two lowly lt1 f-bodies running in the mid 9s at 75 mph and miss flash and 12secss?

i'm waiting on time to install it right now, none of the machine shops are open on saturdays it seems like to get my flywheel turned. plus i have to replace the leaky rear main seal while i'm in there and I haven't checked where I'll pick that up. i'll pm the info on where I got it, got a pretty good price, I might bite on a billet steel flywheel as well.

Im gonna have to get a set of some good slicks and a better tune.

Yeah me and Rod were looking at your tires, the hoosiers are ok, but these ET Street Radials are really good, and not too shabby price wise. They say I'm a good driver, but who knows, I've never pulled a perfect .500 light yet. Anyways the blue cars going down for awhile, gonna put the built motor in soon, selling the black ta and getting a vette. Talk about projects...

Then probably a magic stick or other large cam and 3800-4000 stall.
This is IF i get a daily driver running.

Yeah I need a cam so badly, heads would be great as well, but more importantly i need a tune, and a tranny, and probably a rear end. Its just an endless money pit.
