You are looking for eric, went by the name of ireland31 or something. I wish I could help, but don't have his phone number anymore. You might try hitting up harry (badls1) as he does a lot of work for local people.

Yeah I was thinking that. Do you have the valvespring compressor and air to keep the valves in place?

Well you'd be surprised, anyways I appreciate the offer Ryne but I got a shop in Oceanside starting on it Monday. Family owned, so its all taken care of for me. I did look at that JPE tool or whatever that keeps the lifters up, it basically looks like a piece of piping that slides into the cam holes, and they are charging $129 at TR for that? If it was more reasonable I would buy that product instead I'm gonna try to figure out a cheaper solution. Also that valvespring compressor tool they have is just awesome, that I'll probably purchase, or I've heard good things about the Tims valvespring compressor tool on here.
Once again thanks and I'll be hitting up the track with you soon.

Right across from Boyd Cottington's shop. The owner Slick Anderson Fu?ked up the head's on my motor. Name Part's that I paied for were not used on the motor. Any one with an LS1 should keep clear of this snake in the grass, trailer park trash shop.. Scam, Rip Off artist... Fu?k that punk.:
Tell me about it. I spent a little over 4k there. He tried to hand port the head's and when I had them flow tested, they were worst than a stock port. The grooves were deep as hell, and the car would not dyno because there was to much turbulence going on inside the head. **** that punk Slick. I never saw the port until I took the intake off. When I saw it I was like what the ****. I did'nt want to take him to court because he nis a broke mother ****** anyway's... I took the loss and went to SP Motorsport's... They are hooking my **** up the right way. Will be ready in Apr of 08. THANK'S AGAIN BIG ROB.......
i LET HIM KNOW AND HE STOOD BY HIS WORK, THEN WHEN i TOLD HIM I was going to get the head's flow tested, He ducked every single one of my call's like a punk bitch. They ended up flowing less than a stock un ported head.

****, This thread is how old? Well thank god I never brought it to any of these shops, apparently I would have been hosed, of course after 7 motors in the GTO I think I've already been hosed. So yeah is 15 thousandths piston to wall clearance too much? LOL....
