Smog techs: TPI vs. LS1 question... I was wondering if there are different smog requirements for a 3rd gen 305 TPI vs. a LS1 in California? In other words, would a '02 LS1 w/cats (no AIR pump) run cleaner than an '85 305 TPI w/all the smog goodies?
