if $2200 is all inclusive....Like labor and everything, it's not really too bad a deal...That's over 10 hours book for just labor alone...

Chris and OMR will tell you the rediculous markup they use for parts at a shop....Generally they'll double their cost on it, sometimes more...All depends on how willing the customer is to get the service performed...
They provide a service to you, you need your car fixed; thus you pay for it...If you don't want to pay, then either do it yourself or ride the bus...

No it didn't **** me off that much but he originally told me no more than $1400 and he comes back with $2200. I understand the profit thing. I was willing to pay for the parts and labor it just caught me off guard. He saw a kid with a car and thought he could stroke me. I told him I would do it myself for a lot cheaper and he changed his tune. I trust the guy doing the work as I have known him for years but it was the owner of the shop that gave me the quote

Yeah i forgot that...The supercharged LT1 was not even close to being fast, he was barely trapping 100...And that's the night i went 12.6 @112 with an easy launch and shutting down after 3rd, so it was a good night...
