I'm still awake.
And me being cheap, I would say that selling an LS1 with tranny would give you ample $$ to build an engine to actually hold the boost instead of being limited by the 5-8psi range that these engines are usually limited to. Plus, you wouldn't have to mess around with modifying the blower kit, swapping in the LS1, and you'd save $$ in the process.
On the other hand, if you were just going to sell the engine and tranny, I would think you should at least split it with Michelle since it was out of her car to begin with lol.
Also, if you two are getting married, can yall really afford to be putting all this $$ into a car? I would think Michelle's accident would make it painfully real that cars can be taken away at any time due to another driver's mistake... Maybe just something to think about....
Damn, if only I could put this much thought into something useful to my life...

would just need a mounting bracket, some misc tubing which i could always fab up
we will see, cause michelles engine may be damaged or not dont know yet

plus all that hard time and work won't add anything to the value, so why not get a good low milage LS1 that you can re-sell for something more than $3,000?? that would make sense to me, as you say you are getting married, one day cars will be the weakest link and you will have to sell it to afford more important things, like a house.
