So here is me driving home from lunch with chris after classes... minding my own business. I come up on the last intersection before my house and the light is red as I approch. It turns green as I am about 20 feet away I accelorate back to around 45 mph and proceed into the intersection only to be met by some old hag driving a cadillac. She decided she had enough time to turn in front of me when I was in the cross walk before the intersection. I get on my breaks and turn hard right to try to avoid a head on collision. But to my dismay I am going to fast to stop within 5 feet. She and I collide and both my airbags deploy. My engine stops and I turn the key back as far as I can (later I find the ignition is fucked so my car wasn't off completely). I get out of my car and proceed to yell and the cadillac (the driver was still inside the car) "YOU ******* BITCH! WHAT THE **** DID YOU DO!!!" Then I called the police and my mom... no one was hurt... other than some nice airbag bruises and burns for me along with some nasty headache that won't stop. But yeah... car is totalled... once I get an insurance guy out to look at it I plan to try to part it out as much as possible. I leave you with some pictures of what my car now looks like...

if they let you take stuff off of it, i'd try and get the wheels, t tops, taillights, that front liscense plate bird cover thing (can sell that for like 30-40$) if its still straight, and maybe even the seats, you could probably get some decent money from those items.

not sure if they'll let you take stuff off tho, insurance companies usually want the car as is if they are giving you money, stingy bastards.

i think i have a friend who wants the seats and speakers... and the spoiler if we can get it off and still use it

 

or rip off the whole hatch... could probly sell it for like 200-300$ to somebody with a v6 or formula looking for a t/a hatch

 

would be nice if they would let you rip out the engine, tranny, rear and ecu and everything lol... that would take a while though
