have a upcoming race. its my gto versus a mopar stage 3 neon. i am making around 455-475 rwhp, 430-440 rwtq, i dont know how much power he is making, but he wants to run me on the freeway. its for fun as far as i know, but he is talking **** saying he is going break me off bad, i just dont see it happening , what do you guys think

i believe a 16g loses efficiency in the upper 20s and anything higher that that is just blowing hot air. none the less i havnt seen a 16g support power levels that high unless he is spraying ontop. just race him first to 165. SRT's lose gear at 163.

they say stage 3 neons put around 300-320 whp
so i guess it just depends if you get into your powerband??
you have a good 100 hp difference but you have more weight

if he is stock with just stage 3 upgrade you will eat him. But keep in mind there are stage 3 srt's running mid-high 10's. so it depends on what work he has done. stock with just stage 3 he should be puttin right around 320hp.

You Shouldn't have a problem, The 7cm 16g is still smaller than the 10.5cm 16g on the Evo. The turbo can't support the HP in the Upper RPM range, Sure he might make 320 whp but it'll be at 4k rpm it'll die real fast up top.
