FUUUUCCCKCKKCKCKKCKCKC! God, this is starting to get old. I just talked to my boss and he was like oh, another hotel needed Alfredo(the guy who was coiming in to take over my shift) so you're just going to have to stay till 6 OK?...... Grrrr But anyhow, my car isn't in any photoshoot type of condition, so I'll just meet up with you guys later when I'm off.

Lol I was waiting for him to ask how hard it was. When I first got this car, I was like, I'm going to have everything professionally done. After doing the H/C swap on Alex's car and realizing how simple that was if it weren't due to stupid complications that will be avoided the route I'm going by purchasing all my parts new (nothing wrong buying used, it's just not my thing for internal engine parts), and Chris f'ing up his hand, and forgetting valve covers, we could have had that **** done in 2 days. And that is better than most shops. Like sure there is some complex stuff to deal with like torqing the heads, and setting the timing. But other than that it was all pretty straight forward. Basically what I'm saying, is why not do it yourself? I learned a tooooooon about this motor over that weekend, and motors in general, and it was a relatively fun weekend all things considered. Not to mention the gratification of firing that thing up after all the hard work we put into it . But seriously, I don't know about you guys, but I'd try to find a caliper rebuild kit if I were you since you're going to be pulling them off even though I guess it's short notice.

lol well ive never had mine off, the last time i had the brakes redone was a part of a $1k 100k mile service (brakes, plugs/wires, full fluid flush, etc)
oh and fwiw Wayne's g/fs little brother just sold his 98 v6 stang and is looking for a T/A for under $10k LS1 or LT1, i think he is interested in mine, i said i'd have to get at least $7500 out of it (should have said 8)
now im wondering if i should keep my car, or upgrade to an LS1 WS6 or 'hawk
i found a gorgeous 2000 hawk w/ 15k miles for $19,600
its got 430RWHP
hell i might look for another LT1 car, a 96-97 WS6 6 speed would be pretty cool
