Give me a set of slicks and I will grab ya an 11.50 Bolt ons can yeild a low 12 with a hard launch.

12 bolt...***** rear, but still ok...Put some slicks on there, and that'll be a 11.99 for sure on a 5500 sidestep...

 

are stock ls1 pushrods 7.4 or 7.35?

i'm debating using non hardened pushrods, because booth brought up a good point, in the case of an over rev, i would rather have a bent pushrod than something more serious.

any opinions on that? somebody in the internals section says stock ls1 pushrods are 7.35, i thought those were ls6 lengths... they suggest that i'll need longer rods to accomodate the smaller base circle with the aftermarket cam.

 

7.4 to my understanding is what ya need.

Greg went with an X1, but not MTI...

12.6 is weak from that car...Easily a 11.9 in good air, and on some sticky tires
