Since you're on OBD2 car, i'd just go with an offroad Y...All they do is check for codes, and we can set you up with a guy who will delete them so you will be legal...Nothing to worry about...

I'd get the headers without AIR or EGR as well, you can just remove that crap, and they sell block offs for your EGR, or you can make it as several of the guys have done it...

I would definitely get coated, they look better, and keep it a little bit cooler under the hood, and that's pretty important...It'll protect against rust better than the painted ones, and of course you'll hear guys say we have no rust here, but there is...

If I were you, I'd say **** Pacesetter, of course the price is good, but still...I'd spring for some QTP...They're stainless, polished, fit better than any other header, and they make more power due to the HVMC...At 725$ they're a hell of a deal for what you get, but it's your money, you buy what you want...

We got the install covered too, it'll take 2 hours or less

If you're in AZ I'd say do the coated headers, off road Y pipe (Or get some True Duals to be bawla)

Get the race headers because emissions suck, and it's easy to block all that stuff off. Clears up the engine bay a bit too.

If you're in Cali... I dunno how **** they are with emissions... so proceed at your own risk.

And as Josh said... if you wanna pay $300 more you can always get QTP's and get maybe 5 more hp out of it... Whatever you're into... =P

Get some Pacesetter race style ones, coated, with their Y-pipe, and like said above, just have stuff deleted, I am, so you have to as well

yes. i passed emissions last month with no EGR, no AIR, no cats, and no rear o2's.

i went to the local tuner and he tuned them out for me, all emissions did was hook my car up to a scanner, saw no codes, and that was that.

For the price of QTP's you COULD get:

Pace Setter Race Style Ceramic coated Headers
O2 Extensions
TR55 Plugs
LID

with some change to go in your pockets. $725 is alot of money just for headers, Pacesetters are like 375ish......

Your dollar man.

yeah, they'll get the job done...Just half assed...

Why compromise? It's like wanting an LS1, but getting an LT1 instead; which is worse than a Ford Tempo...

i don't see anything half assed about my Pacesetters...fit was perfect, so my next set, i will get the race style, ceramic coated ones...i don't see why I should spend 300 bux more for 5 hp...I'm not one to care about being looked down on because I didn't by Kooks or something...I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Pacesetters

arent the jethot Lt's areound the same price as the coated pacesetters? I was looking at thier website, bt couldn't find a price. I think I paid around $600 for jethot coated Lt's with the y-pipe, and they were awesome headers.

and as long as they are coated, and you dont scratch the coating off, it shouldnt rust for quite a while...
