Yeah...

D1 is a little much on that stock motor, but it's something to grow into...How much boost you plan on running??? Seen many people be disappointed with the numbers they get on 2 valves, but you should definitely like how it feels...

I am not going to push the motor too much. No more than 400/400. It is coming with 2 pulleys. Has an upgraded 3 core intercooler and a minirace BOV. I can finally run with an LS1 (soon). I wanna keep it nice and safe til I pay this off then try to go blow it up in about a year or so. Most likely then a VT shortblock with Patriot heads and some cams. Planning on install this weekend if you wanna help Chris I can get some beer just let me know.

Intercooler and piping have about 1000 miles on them. The actual D1 has ZERO miles on it. I think the toughest thing is gonna be tapping the oil pan.

So you didn't get the self contained oil unit, just the D1???

Shouldn't be too bad though...

So, if the compressor is in fact "self contained", then why do you need to tap the oil pan??? Are you planning on running a real Oil pressure gauge then?

I don't need to. I thought I did because I have helped put in a Vortec that I needed to tap the pan with. Not too familiar with Procharger yet. I have only heard 1 bad thing about them and that is that they can leak oil. Good things are that they come intercooled so I can technically run higher boost safer.

I am so freakin jumpy I can't sit still it will be here Thursday and the rest of the stuff should hopefully be here by Friday. Then install on Saturday!!!

it's a pretty easy install...i did one on my 4v, but relatively the same...

Bumper bolts are a pain in the ***, but other than that, you should be fine...
