New AZ owner
Just wanted to drop in, a week ago I purchased a 2000 SS with 46k on the clock, white with hardtop, M6, black/tan interior.

I ran into a few guys last night on Bell and they suggest I come on. I've been on the site for a while during my search for a car, but haven't posted much in this section. Just thought I'd pop in.

josh, i forgot to tell you about this guy that we talked to last night with an 02 ws6, which was stock, but he was trying to tell us that it wasnt, it just looked stock...
bone stock he ran an 11.8, and he has no idea what is done to it, but his "mechanic" was there to re assure us that the car definately has work done to it, including computer programming, but he wasn't sure with what program.
i proceed to tell him that my car has a V6 and he says they didn't make v6 trans ams, and asked me if "my bird spits fire", because on trans am's the bird spits fire, but not on regular firebirds LMAO...
then steven convinced them that his car was stock with a bad miss, he even started it, and still had this guy and his "mechanic" convinced that it was stock, and the mechanic suggested that the injectors are whats causing it to idle like that LMAO!!!
then a blue 3rd gen came in, and the guy who drove the ws6 claims that its a "2nd gen, with the LT1"... he continued to blab away about how trans am's are better than corvettes, faster, more aerodynamic, and built better and all kinds of stuff.. that guy was just out of control.
MANY lulz were had by all of us listening to this guy teach us all kinds of things about ls1's and trans ams in general.
i learned that if i got a ram air hood, i would feel a DRAMATIC difference in performance!!

I remember you talking about that guy. After you left he pulled into the Fry's lot and was bouncing off the rev limiter. He then started talking to the red/tan topped Vette and they all drove off together.
Hopefully I see you guys around!
Also I don't know if I'd throw out Phoenix blows, I'm not saying it's the best but I've been to Flag a few times when I had friends that were in school up there and boy was it shitty! One strip club at the time and more tree huggers then I knew what to do with.

I wish i was there for that "mechanic" guy...
Would have been like the time I called out Mr Clean to go 40 miles to get a 224 cammed LS1...

no as soon as i popped my hood they were like, are you sure its a v6?
he said my "intake coils" looked like an LS1, and i laughed and said "of course its an LS1, i was just ******* with you guys"
then this little weird kid was AMAZED at how my car sounded when i pulled in, HE was probably one of the weirdest kids ive ever met... kinda freaked me out to even look at him. like 4 foot tall, and had a mullet.

bill you would have loved to have your car out there that night, on the way home we were at a gas station filling up and a big group of mustangs went rumbling by down bell, we quickly jumped in and followed chase, we finally cought them, turned out to be a group of about 8 03-04 cobras, and a couple older cobras, some of those cars sounded so badass.
they all went under the 101 except one red one, i would guess it was an 01 cobra, he followed us on the 101, he came up to me and got owned, then proceeded to go up to ryan for a second helping of ownage, it was hilarious.
ryan also managed to take out a CBR600 on the 101 as well
