You mean 224/224 .581/.581 114LSA? Did you smog your car after you put it in?

The 224 224 114 LSA is the biggest cam you can smog in cali, It will pass the sniffer! but the 112LSA will not, Have to get the 114LSA if you want to pass.

Bry is right. E-85 or 93 octane, I have partitioned my stock tank to roughly 8 gal. per side and that way I can pick and choose my fuel.

I use full v6 looms, and a procharger with a 280 shot. the 1176 is only the "safe" tune, i dont wanna blow anything and that is plenty of power, it usually will roast my 245's for a good chirp or two

Might even pull off some high 6's if he gets a tire on there...

As far as a blower cam...

use a 221/227 .600/.600 113LSA w/ 111ICL...It will pass emissions just fine

Just call up Comp and have them grind you that, according to my calculations, it should bump the DCR up to the perfect level to run on 91 octane...And you can even run 103 octane, a few more PSI, and a few more degrees of timing for more power...

All of that is on a 346ci LS1 using stock head gaskets and a 66cc chamber...If you haven't purchased heads, i'd suggest in going with some small bore AFR 225's to drop the SCR a little and we'll go from there...
