Thanks for the offer but I think I've got someone already. I hope this goes nice and smooth and it meets everyone's expectations. It should since this guy does good work from what I've seen. I'm going to be getting a different bumper for my g35 sedan once he comes out with a design for one. Right now he only has bumpers for the g35 coupes. I wish he could do the nismo front bumper. It just looks nice and clean with two openings at the bottom corners.

Still searching for someone to be the test car. Just have to stop by once for the test fitment of the original CME valance and maybe a couple more time for the test fitment of the replica valance. PM me.

WTF? Why didnt you guys just find a factory CME car from the beginning? That was a mandatory option when I bought mine!

I would say a lot of people on this site are younger and probably bought their car used. So they would've had to find a cme optioned car if they really wanted it. Besides most people just want the tips and valance not the entire kit.

Eric is looking at the end of this week to be finished with the mold and maybe he can have the first urethane piece made by the end of the week as well. Hopefully all goes well and the fitment is great on the first urethane piece. If not there'll be a delay to ensure 100% fitment.

Well I have an update. I talked to Eric this morning and the news wasn't all that good but it is good that he has been keeping me updated throughtout this project.

He mentioned that what they tried to do was make a copy of my valance from scratch, not actually using the valance for the mold, but just using it as a guide on how it should look. They fitted the copy and it wasn't 100% fitment. So now they are starting all over and will actually take my valance and creat a new mold from it. I thought this was what they were doing from the beginning but he said if they would've done it like that they would've damaged my valance. So he bought it from me and will be making an exact copy of it. We're looking at another 2-3 weeks for this to be finished. Thanks everyone. I'll be checking on the tips Monday, since I have it off.

I feel the same way buddy, but Eric has been very helpful and patient throughout this project. Hopefully those 2-3 weeks go by quick and gives me some time to get at the metal caster to see about the tips.
