Thanks, but without people's interest, like yourself, there wouldn't be a project. I would have just kept my valance on my car and said to hell with it. By the way, hose pics you posted of your car are amazing. I wish my car was that clean. Hopefully after this is done, I can throw some money at my car and get my hood repainted, some dents taken out, and a cme valance. After that is all said and done my car will look pretty good.

As far as I know the person that contacted Stainless Works about making some tips said they never heard anything back from them. I had a lead on a metalcaster that could reproduce something very similar but I didn't get much interest. I know people want them but most people would rather go with some other kind of tips than pay $200-250 for those.

Actually, Eric just told me this morning that they produced the final piece and that fitment is PERFECT. However, he said that our rear bumper is too soft and easily flexes. So he told me he gave Blown383 (tester) his bumper back and the valance. He'll be installing his bumper and the valance to check the fitment with the bumper on the car. I hope he has time to do this over the weekend so we can see some more pics from them.

Blown383, if you can that would be great. I know you're working 2 jobs and your car is in a million pieces.

I don't think anyone will be making the tips. I tried to gauge interest in reproduction cme tips and there were very few people interested in them at the price of ~$250 shipped. It would be a 2-3 month project to get the tips ready, which includes making a cast and producing the orders. You'll have to find your own setup, whether it be original cme tips, ebay cme tips, corsa style, or whatever you like best.

Here's a photoshop of ProjectCamaro's car with cme and corsa-like tips.

I'll let you know when they're ready. Also check out norcal-ls1.com. You'll find a lot of people on that site. There's quite a bit of small GTGs and people that head out to the drag and auto-x.
