i dont think he was toying.. i just think he was trying to stay away..not get hurt.. and just land more punches...even tho they were crappy punches. all he wanted were the punch stats so that he can win like he did... del la hoya was handing it to him.. and when he was was that mayweather would lock him up! and take his momentum away. witch is a biotch move! he spent half the time in the ropes! i think de la hoya was the real winner! and wimp move on mayweather for saying hes gunna retire now..yea cuz he knows del la hoya was going to want a rematch. if he was toying with him he woulda knocked his *** out the last round. to go out into retirement with a bang... not a crappy win like that.

in all fairness if you call that bitch move then if you look at oscars previous fights he has done the same thing before.... also we would have to call ali a bitch because that's pretty much what he did his whole carrer.

are you guys serious? oscar didn't land very many hard punches they were all blocked. he would just throw big flurries at the end of round to try to win over the judges. mayweather is not a knockout puncher he has always picked people apart with hard jabs and fast punches the reason he is unbeat is because he can hit and move before you can react. don't get me wrong i would like to see oscar beat him i am mexican and it was cinco de mayo and all but im not gonna lie to myself.

de la hoya sucks i was going for mayweather now i think he wasnt puttin his all in but still won like i knew he would de la hoya just got a few shots in and even when he did it wasnt even effective

I'd like to see a rematch between the them. I was going for Floyed too, but don't think that either should've one the fight and that they should've called it a draw. Floyed DID land more shots than Oscar, but Oscar DID press the fight and threw more. It may have looked like Oscar was kicking his ***, but most of his punches were being dodged or blocked. I also think that in order to take a title from someone, you REALLY have to earn it and SHOW that you want it. Floyed didn't do any of those and that's why i call it a draw (Champ keeps the belt and no one loses)
