Default How much slower will I be in CO?

Airforce is moving me to Colorado Springs in Sept. I've heard horror stories about the altitude. Will my C6 be a slug? Lets say I can run 10.90s at 1000' what am I going to run up there? Am I going to hate this thing at altitude?

because all of the tracks suck here, you'll probably run mid-high 11s. Bandimere is better, but its higher and farther from the springs. You'll get used to the altitude though, when you first get here your car will feel a lot slower, but after a little while it'll just feel normal lol. Too bad i'm leavin for the sandbox in july, woulda been nice to see your vette.

Oh man. I might have to sell it and buy a Honda! Ok, I guess I'll just get used it. Now I just need to find a house with a shop out back where I can break in motors and no one will call the cops.

you lose 20% of your horsepower at see level map kpa is 100-101 up here it is 82 20% less air 20% less power the dyno correction factor is usually 1.24 which indicate a 24% decrease not sure how that works im not the best driver but my 02 T/A made 383 hp and 385 tq at the wheels corrected to sea level weighed in at 3836 lbs. i was running 13.8 @ 106 on drag radials
