tucson guys...chime in
I got orders to Davis-Monthan AFB and should be out there around Jan. Just wondering how is the car scene out there. Any good f-body clubs or what not. How do you like living there? Thanks...

sweet man, I'll check out the link. Im trying to find out as much as I can about the city. So far it seems pretty cool. That sucks about no track but as long as there is a good car scene there I should be good. So the one you mentioned firebird, thats a track? is it 1/4 or 1/8. Is it a nice track?

Firebird is up in phoenix, full 1/4 track, its probably around 1 hour 15 min away from tucson. There is also SIR, this is a full 1/4 track which is right next to tucson 10-15 min away at the most. Most people consider it part of tucson, just dont expect great times, its 3100 ft elevation and prep is not the best.

DA is usually high 4000s ... Alot of people like to go to SIR, but alot from the club dislike it. Its better than nothing, but most poeple prefer Speedworld up in suprise Az, which is around 2 hr drive.
