Default speedworld last night

Who was at speedworld last night. I know i saw a ls1tech shirt on one of the people i was talking to before my last run. Anyways i wasnt to happy with the car last night but guess i cant complain for my first time out. Couldnt stall the car above 1200 without spinning bad. Full weight, nitto drag radial, lts, catted ypipe(threw a cat code yet again stopped making noise so i figured it wasnt a bad cat but its back), grantelli maf, 3000 stall, coolant bypass. Car went 13.51@100.74. Mph seems slow but not sure if it was heat or if its a bad cat choking the car up top

yeah, your car should be trapping 105+. even in the heat. you would think that you would be able to stall higher then 1200rpm if u have a 3000rpm stall. how much pressure were u running in your nittos and were u doin a burnout? they will probably hook best at 16-18psi. also, try and drive around the water box with your front tires as much as possible to keep them from tracking water onto the track. i usually drive around the water box and then back into it with the back tires for the burnout. and leave your car in drive. i heard that it increases the line pressure to the trans and will make it shift stroner then if you have in in 3rd or try manually shifting it. just a couple tips and good luck. if i get bored i might show up at the track again. might even run the car. haha

Your car should be close to the flat 13's. My stock Z28 six speed was doing 13.5's consistenly on stock clutch and stock tires.

Maybe I'll be out with silver98 at Speedworld this weekend, wouldn't mind going to the track one more time before I leave the state.
