It hit 113 degrees in AZ got a question ?
I hear like a rattling sound when i accelerate on happens during the hot summer months here in az this common ? Should i look into this deeper in the winter months nothing at all little help fellas !

It sounds like it's knocking! Be sure to run good gas. If you can afford it, it would never hurt to run a couple gallons of race gas with your fill ups. Where in town do you live?

i thought it might be the spark does it only when its hot out im going to try some octane booster on top of the 91 octane see if it helps if not ive planned on changing the plugs to the msd's and ngk tr 55's good ?

cleaning the MAF should be a regular maintenance item, just like changing your oil and putting air in your tires IMHO. it really does make that big of difference if left unchecked. especially if you run an oil based filter.

I agree, never had a MAF based car before, so I read this thread went to Checker Auto Parts, then went home took the MAF off and I couldn't believe how much stuff had accumilated on the wires. Took maybe 10 minutes max to do. I will do this every oil change from now on.
On a side not, I read that this could cause the car to run lean if left uncheck/dirty. Did a plug change and there was signs of detonation and lean signs on a few of the rear plugs. Hopefully this will fix that issue. BTW, found out my arms a to big to change the passenger side plugs, so I employeed the assistance of a friend to help.

thats nothing it was 127 in Havasu July 4 weekend..
My friend is having a problem with his car running really hot ( above where it usually reads) these summer days. instead of 210 he is saying its appears a good 30 degrees hotter ( coolant temp) what can this be from
