Do you guys know if there will be test and tune racing on the 29th? I was just wondering because the LACR website is not clear on sunday. It just mentions bracket racing and jet cars, but nothing about test and tune. Anyone know?

Who is going tonight? And to the people that have gone before, exactly how bad is the track prep? I saw a video where LACR had SAND on the track and an LS7 RX-7 spun out in 4th because he was just spinning so bad.

Was there on Wednesday. 4 lanes of cars were filled up about 20 deep. They are anticipating it to be busy this weekend. Track prep was weak on the left lane. Not really a tech line. when i got into the 13's they made sure I had a helmet in the car somewhere. Passenger restriction was lenient in the 13's.

But...I talked to the track guys and they said that the last weekend (27, 28, 29) they are going all out. So it should be alot cleaner and stickier.

yeah i thought that too when i cut a 14 second pass untill the guy at the staging lanes offered to get my times corrected then i saw my good ol 13 second pass. its the altitude that ***** your times up. i saw a guy with a ls1 firebird with stall cam and drag radials run a low 13 which really isnt right untill u correct the numbers then you pass a mid 12.

I went tonight (Friday) 1 1/2 hour wait to get into the gates. You had to get in a single file line from Eastbound entrance. Anyways I got one (1) pass in. LACR was a freaking Zoo, I'm not lying about this, it was absolutely freaking crazy... worse then Disneyland on a Sunday on peak vacation season. Anyways prep was pretty decent, I spun the tires hard, but still managed an 11.99 for the first run down a track with the goat. I paid for all weekend, so I'll definately be there tomorrow. My goat is parked there, I drove my truck home. I'll be bringing the skinnies so it looks to be a hot day, make sure to bring sunscreen and hats.
Also from the GTO boards we will be meeting up at 1PM at the Bakers off 4th street in Ontario. If anyone wants to tag along feel free. We are taking the 138 (Yes its closed) but detouring it through Wrightwood so we wont have to go all the way up to Victorville. Anyways hope to see you guys out tomorrow.
